Firstly, we hope that you and your families are staying safe and well during these extraordinary times.
Whilst we’ve been in lock-down, the vast majority of our staff have been safely furloughed at home with just a few remaining in the business to assist with emergency breakdowns and support key workers.
We have also been busy taking steps to adapt our showroom and workshops to ensure we can continue to offer you the high level of service you expect from Simpsons in a safe and contact-free environment once the restrictions have been lifted. These include redesigning our showroom layouts, relocating desks to maintain a minimum two-metre distance and installing clear screens to protect both our staff and our customers.
We’re mindful we have a good number of customers who weren’t able to take delivery of their new vehicles before the lockdown was imposed; thank-you for your patience and we will be in touch to arrange ‘contact-free’ hand-overs as soon as we are able to do so.
Whilst we’ve been in lock-down, we’ve continued to receive enquiries for both the sales and aftersales sides of the business and have dealt with these as best we can with the resources available, even if only by way of an acknowledgement and holding message. As we begin to welcome back more of our staff over the next week or so, we will revisit any unresolved enquiries and be back in touch with customers to see if we can help further.
